The 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has shattered attendance records, welcoming 250,000 spectators across the three-day race weekend at Yas Marina Circuit. The season-ending Formula 1 spectacular has become the largest single sporting event in UAE history, surpassing the previous record of 215,000 set during the 2023 edition.

Visitor data reveals the event's truly global appeal, with fans traveling from 142 countries. The breakdown shows:
UAE residents: 35% (87,500 attendees)
GCC visitors: 22% (55,000 attendees)
European visitors: 25% (62,500 attendees)
Asian visitors: 12% (30,000 attendees)
Americas and other regions: 6% (15,000 attendees)
The United Kingdom led international visitors with 28,000 fans, followed by Germany (15,000), India (12,000), and Australia (8,500). First-time visitors accounted for 42% of total attendance, indicating successful efforts to attract new audiences to Formula 1.

The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism estimates the Grand Prix generated AED 1.8 billion ($490 million) in economic impact for the emirate. This includes:
